Charming Victorian guest rooms. Convenient beachfront location. Excellent ocean view rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. Secure nearby parking. Lovely art deco decor. Spotlessly clean rooms. Comprehensive breakfast.
There was nothing I didn't like.

The rooms were extemely comfortable and suited a trip which combined business and leisure
Perhaps a bit too close to the main street. And, like nearly everywhere else, no complimentary wi-fi - ridiculous in 2010

The location of the hotel was perfect. The decor was very stylish - I want one of those table lamps that we had in our bedroom as I love the art déco style. The receptionist, Céline (?), was very helpful, and it was useful to have on-site parking available. The bed was really comfortable.
It was very warm in the room and I'm not sure if the thermostat was working properly as it didn't seem to make a difference when I turned it down. I opened the window during the night but, unfortunately, someone was letting off fireworks for a while (obviously not your fault). I didn't think to bring this to the attention of the hotel as it was during the night that I tried to lower the heating and I forgot about it on departing.

Exceptionally clean wonderful accommodation with excellent staff and amazing location in the center of town. Big, airy room available with the pictures shown when making the reservation and mini bar plus the bedroom. Great location near the beach and shops, and a good breakfast to start your day. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed, which was perfect after long walks around the area. We appreciated the helpful staff that was always ready to answer our questions.
The hotel was excessively priced during New Year's Eve, which was not reflected in the standard of the accommodations. The room was small, and the décor felt outdated, with paint chips and scum in the bathroom.

Down town location.
Parking away from the reception. (We had a rainy wheather!)

The room was a good size with good facilities and nicely decorated and well maintained. It was right by the beach and near to the shops. The receptionist was friendly and polite.
The choice of room service menu was poor and although the room was a good size in a good location it was quite expensive for what it was.

If you aim to be close to the beach and wander around town, this hotel’s location is perfect for you! It is situated in the heart of the city, so everything is a walk away. Plus, it is just across from the beach, so you can go for a swim any time of day. The hotel’s breakfast is delightful and you can easily connect to the internet. If you rent a car, the parking is also convenient.
One aspect of this hotel could be better.
